This training course involves a three day development program to enhance leadership skills in an interactive workshop format.

The core contents that will be covered are as follows:

Coaching for Managers – This segment entails bringing about sustainable change, improving staff retention and helping employees achieve their goals.

Motivating the Staff – Here the techniques for motivation that improve productivity, quality and service will be discussed. We will also review how to help your team achieve their goals, build self-esteem and capability, manage their own development and help other team members with their development.

Influencing and Persuasion At Work –This module coaches you to enhance your ability of reconciling your company vision with that of your employees and volunteers

Managing Volunteers – This section will provide you with training about attracting and retaining the right volunteers and benefiting from their involvement

Change Management – Here we will reveal how to create a structure that is aligned with new strategies. Also we will discuss how to employ effective communication strategies to ensure that the employees and stakeholders understand and support the effort along with minimizing resistance to change.

Problem Solving & Decision Making – Finally the training will prepare you to benefit from improved processes and discover new ways of working

Social Media For Charities involves a three day development program about Social Media in an interactive workshop format.

How Social Media Works – This segment will signify why there is focus on social media and is it worth the fuss? It will further deal with how it can be used effectively.

Essentials: RSS, Blogs, Twitter etc – Here we will introduce the essentials of social media in plain English and without the technological babble

Twitter 101 – We will educate you about everything you wanted to know about Twitter and other such tools, but were afraid to ask

Save Time With Automation – This section will inform you about the use of inexpensive tools that you can utilize to eliminate routine tasks and save time. We’ll show you that it doesn’t need to be time consuming

Fundraising Techniques – Training will be provided for charities about finding successful new ways of raising funds in the ever changing environment

Charity Case Studies & Strategies – We will discuss and focus on charities that are doing it right and what you can learn from them

Helen is highly acclaimed for her coaching and leadership worldwide.

She conducts leadership programs across the globe from Paris to Poland and Egypt to Argentina.

She has recently designed and delivered the management program for Nestle globally. In addition, she is also leading teams for the Teacher Development Agency.

Social Media For Charities is led by Carl Duncker.

Carl specializes in marketing, internet marketing and the effective utilization of social media.

He is a reputed Social Media Trainer in UK.

He possesses 15 years of marketing experience across an extensive range of industries.

Carl is the head of the Leader Development Academy and its associated projects.

We conduct training in Central London and central Manchester for easy access. We prefer to utilize training rooms available at the registered charities premises.

Course timings are from 10:00a.m. to 16:30p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

These timings provide convenience for your employees to attend training on 3 days only to maximise training time and minimise travel time.

These sessions also provides the opportunity for trainees to discuss the days learning.

Both courses commence in January 2010 and we release 15 fully funded places at any one time.

We aim to release further funded places for as long as the funding is available.
